Saint Patrick’s Day Celebrations Around South Orange and Gaslight Commons

St. Patrick’s Day is here and there are parades taking place all over New Jersey the next few weeks. Here at Gaslight Commons our residents can tap into their Irish roots, or pretend to be Irish for the day by participating in the fun holiday activities. Many parades this year are happening close by to South Orange, with most less than a half hour from Gaslight Commons!

Break out your best green attire and join other local residents at one of the biggest St. Patrick’s Day events around! Newark is just a short drive away from Gaslight Commons and will hold their St. Patrick’s Day parade on March 11th. As the longest standing parade in New Jersey, spectators can anticipate quite a spectacular day. Over 100 organizations will take part in the march running from Lafayette Street to Washington Street. Along the way there are several Irish pubs and restaurants that you could check out. Saturday March 13th you can head over to West Orange for another great New Jersey celebration for their St. Patrick’s Day parade!
